Gowlland Point Road Residence

This building’s low profile allows it to nestle nicely among the tall Douglas firs of South Pender Island. The 18-foot cantilever roof structure uses only eight-inch-deep steel beams to give the roof a very light feel while still meeting structural strength and vibration requirements induced by ocean gusts.

Location: Pender Island, BC | Size: 10,000 sq. ft.

Architect: The Airey Group | Builder: Keystone Projects
