With colourful accents throughout, this contemporary Vancouver residence has a distinct mid-century feel. Light and nature are an integral part of the design, with large windows and organically inspired features. Stone, wood, and iron flourishes create a sense of cohesion throughout the residence with artistic grating adorning key features. Communal space is on the upper floor, with the lower floor opening onto the lush green lawn and sweeping driveway. In the main living area, a large chandelier uses “petals” to brighten the room. Broad sliding doors create a playful interplay between outdoor and indoor spaces. These doors open onto a cosy patio area accented with a bright red entrance and a sleek vanishing edge pool reflecting the everchanging Pacific skies.
