WEST VANCOUVER RESIDENCE 7

This 5,000ft2 open concept West Vancouver home features the hallmarks of living on the West coast with mountains and harbour views flanking each side, and the main view focused on the ocean. A feeling of West Coast modernity is encapsulated throughout the residence as cedar-clad walls provide privacy and heavy timber rafters contrast a light palette. Like coastal forests, there is plenty of communal space with secret spots for contemplation, including a private office hidden behind the staircase and a “one-person library” on the top landing.

This residence’s design evokes the Pacific skies with elements bringing light and air throughout. Two bridges span the interior, and natural light is welcomed throughout the home with large windows and a wall-to-wall skylight.
