Our House of Clans | shíshálh Nation

Our House of Clans is a six-storey, mixed-use building that brings together affordable housing, community space, and commercial uses within a single, integrated structure. The 64,500 ft² development includes 34 residential units ranging from studios to three-bedroom family homes, supported by administrative space, a community kitchen, and ground-floor retail.

Designed as both housing and a gathering place, the project anchors a broader vision of community connection and continuity. Built on a site of deep cultural significance to the shíshálh Nation, the development incorporates a public-facing Reconciliation Plaza centred around the totem Carving Tears into Dreams of Reconciliation, created through a community-led process involving more than 1,500 participants.
