Structural Solutions Shaped by Relationships
WHM works with Indigenous communities on housing and community-serving buildings across British Columbia. We believe that a structural solution is only as strong as the relationships behind it.
We approach every project by listening first—understanding how a structure fits within a community’s broader vision and relationship to the land before moving toward technical solutions. As structural engineers, we provide clear, transparent input and adapt our work as community priorities shape the design. We recognize Nations as rights holders and support meaningful participation in technical decision-making.
WHM is a proud member of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) and an active participant in the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) program at the PAIR Committed level. PAIR Committed participation indicates our commitment to continual improvement in Indigenous relations and our intention to undergo external verification of our performance in the future.
