Originally from the Philippines, Arnel immigrated to the West Coast and put his diploma in civil infrastructure and degree in civil engineering to good use by joining the WHM team. He credits the camaraderie and shared sense of accomplishment as major reasons why WHM has been the perfect career fit for him. When not at work, you’ll find him spending quality time with his wife and two children and exploring all that Vancouver has to offer.

The camaraderie shared between colleagues — which also extends to clients — and the wide range of projects are two major factors in why Charlotte’s found a home at WHM. When off the clock, she can be found exploring the wild landscapes of BC. “From sea to forest to mountain views, it’s breathtaking.” She says. “There’s nothing quite like arriving at the airport after a long trip and taking in that first deep breath of BC air.”

Born in Bucharest, Romania, Ancuta moved to Canada in 2005 aiming to provide a better future for her family. She has a background in teaching and structural engineering, which helped her land a position at WHM. Ancuta mentions the kindness and professionalism of her teammates as what she appreciates the most at WHM. When not working, Ancuta likes to cook and bake and take care of her two cats. She is married and has two wonderful daughters.

A member of the team since 2019, Jonathan was born and raised here in Vancouver and lists the friendly, helpful and accommodating nature of his colleagues and clients as major factors why he’s found a good fit for his talents in WHM. When not in the office or jobsite, Jonathan enjoys indulging a love of cinema, exploring the city’s vibrant culinary scene and enjoying the way its urban environments coalesce with ample green spaces.

Manjunath was born in India and spent time in Nova Scotia before moving to Vancouver with his wife Krittika. Like many new arrivals, he was immediately mesmerized by the majestic natural beauty of BC’s mountains, rivers, and ocean. When not working closely with the WHM team in the office (where he is an avowed fan of its dog-friendly workplace policy), you can find him playing badminton or cricket and indulging his love of cooking.

Born and raised in rural Ontario, Veronica has called Vancouver home for years but still can’t get over the majesty of the mountains. Off hours, you’ll find her and her partner Devin and dog Loki hiking, camping and exploring all corners of BC. “The West Coast is incredible in so many ways,” she says. “Having the ocean on one side and mountains on the other is a natural beauty you can’t find anywhere else in Canada.”

A foodie and local to Vancouver, Ron loves how the city is multicultural and provides easy access to great fresh food from diverse cultures. The people are one of the reasons why he enjoys his role at WHM. In his spare time, Ron gives private catering, operates a private supper club, and trains Thai kickboxing.

Originally from Prince George, Michael moved to the Lower Mainland with his family at a young age and these days credits the city’s vibrant cultural and culinary scene as two major reasons why he chooses to still call Vancouver his home. When asked why he loved WHM? “It’s the people,” he says. When not in the office, you’ll find him spending quality time with his wife and three boys and playing hockey, golf and pickleball.

Originally from Tehran, Iran, Neda moved to Ottawa 13 years ago, where she earned a M.A.SC in Mechanical Engineering. She moved to Vancouver after seven years and fell in love with Vancouver’s beautiful beaches, breathtaking nature, and amazing autumn colours. She enjoys the friendly environment at WHM and looks forward to being more involved in planning fun activities with the Social Committee. Neda lives with her husband Majid and two-year-old daughter Delaris.

Originally from Scotland, Graeme hopped the pond to Toronto in 1999 but kept heading west and ended up putting down permanent roots here in Vancouver. He credits WHM’s friendly and collegial atmosphere as a major reason why he’s been a fixture at the firm since it was founded in 2006. When not in the WHM bullpen, Graeme loves spending time with his partner Susie, two kids, two big dogs and off-roading in his truck.

Born and raised in Fort St. John, BC, Sophia came to Vancouver to attend drafting school and stayed after meeting her wife here. She cites the open and tolerant nature of people who live here and amount of year-round greenery as reasons why she now calls it home. When not at work, you can find her gaming and spending quality time with her wife, son and two black cats by the names of Hurricane and Guenhwyvar.
